Ayumikurikamaki – Goma Slipper

This is so catchy! I immediately loved it!
But, before giving space to the translation.. let me explain something ^^

This song is all about “gomasuri” that is a slang word that means “apple-polisher” “brown noser”.. especially related to work place. Those people who flatter persons in higher position to get advantages. Some would simply say.. “ass kisser” and it’s how I will translate it in the song 😛
This slang word comes from “goma o suru” that means “to grind sesame seeds”. An hard work that was used to be done by lower ranked persons and not surely by lords 😉
The title is not really clear, I asked to a japanese friend and she said it has no meaning eheh so I am just assuming it’s referred to “gomasuri” and the slippery walk up in the society while kissing asses. In their dance they mimick something like that.
It’s not that important though, the chorus is catchy even without knowing what the hell they are singing 😀

Hell yeah! gomagomasurisurigomasurippaaaaa 😀
